About me
Curious by nature. Useful by design.
I notice things. Probably tooooo many things.
The moment a service feels off, the reason something confuses people, the gap between what a business thinks it offers and what people actually experience.
It's a bit of a curse but it turns out it's also pretty useful professionally.
Who I am
Hi, I'm Ece.
(Pronounced "Eh-jeh."
You'll get it eventually.)
I'm a researcher and experience designer based in Berlin. I come from industrial design, which taught me to look at how things work before jumping to how they should look. That habit stuck. These days I apply it to experiences, services, and the small moments that make or break how people feel about something.
Lately I've been spending a lot of time at events across Berlin, contributing, helping organize, documenting, meeting people, and genuinely listening. It's taught me a lot about how communities work, how experiences are shaped, and how much a good video or a well-run event can change the feeling of a whole room.
I work with small businesses and organizations who want to understand their people better. I ask a lot of questions. I listen even more. And I turn what I find into something you can actually do something with.
When I'm not doing that I'm painting watercolors, talking to my plants, or making handmade things for people. Make of that what you will.
If you want to work with someone who genuinely cares about the answers, let's talk.
Methodology
The real problem is rarely the one on the brief.
I look at the whole system not just the screen. People, context, friction points nobody named yet. I make sure it reaches people.
That's what shapes everything I do.
User & Customer Research
Interviews, observation, usability testing. I talk to real people and find what's actually there, not what everyone assumed.
Experience & Service Mapping
Journey maps, service blueprints, friction analysis. Making the invisible visible so teams know exactly where to focus.
Research Reports & Strategy
Synthesizing findings into clear, actionable direction. Not a document that sits in a folder — something people actually use.
Community, Event & Content
Organizing, documenting, creating. From event support and video content to community building and visual storytelling.
"Ece is the kind of person who takes full ownership of her work and does not let go until it is right: when she runs into a wall she finds a door. "

Where I've been
My experience doesn't follow a straight line and I think that's the point. Each one added a layer.
